I'm the person behind the camera
I'll guide you through the entire process
An adventure photographer by day, an event planner, location scout AND mother all by night. You’d think I’m joking right? I am not. My name is Ashley & I live in Portland, Oregon with my fiancé, 3 daughters, and a whole farm of animals. When I’m not behind the camera, planning, editing, or working on the farm - you’ll find me hiking, kayaking, or camping with my family. I LOVE the outdoors!
If you're wanting an intimate session & want to do it your way - I'm here to guide you through the whole process!
I would love to know your why around your day, whether you're choosing a traditional wedding or adventure elopement. This can help me to guide you better through the next steps.
02.Pick a Location
Haven’t decided on a specific location yet? Worry not! We’ll talk about options and I’ll share from experience what works best depending on your needs.
03.Season & timeline
Weather, seasonality and daylight play a crucial role in how your photos will turn out. We’ll discuss together and confirm the timeline for best results.
Are you eloping just the two of you? Or are you bringing any family and friends with you? There’s no right or wrong answer. We just need to plan it ahead.
Details such as housing, ceremony location, plane tickets, car rentals and other logistics need to be thought-through, confirmed and booked.
If you’re tying the knot abroad, you’ll need to figure out what are the legal requirements and documents you need to prepare to make this happen.
Are travel expenses included?
If you're getting married local to Portland, OR not travel expenses will occur. All other locations within the USA and abroad are discussed and confirmed individually. For top destinations photography costs may be waived.
What if we don't want to legally get married on our elopement day?
That is absolutely okay and many couples choose to do the legal work on another day. We can create a ceremony set-up specifically for your photos. It's your day and you can plan it however you want. Legally it may also be easier if your officiant doesn't have to travel or do a bunch of hiking.
How long have you been doing this?
I started photography professionally in the spring of 2019, but have always been handy with a camera and artistically inclined.
Do you have a question?
Vix ut utinam feugait. Eu scribentur liberavisse nec. Dico fugit nostro cu pri, no putent nemore mel, ius at minim molestiae
Do you retouch photos?
I edit all photos to my style then I retouch photos as needed. I will remove temporary blemishes, smooth skin and stray hairs as able or needed. I will not alter your body however.
What do you shoot with?
I shoot with a canon r5 and a 24-70mm lens.
We want to include our dog in our elopement and photos, is that okay?
More than okay, it's an absolute must! Including your furry family members makes for such beautiful and fun memories. We can try to include your dog into the ceremony and traditional portraits.
How long does It take to receive our photos?
Typically, I work my hardest to deliver a highlight album within 2 weeks time and then you can expect the full wedding or album album within 6-8 weeks time.
how many photos will we receive?
an average is between 50-100 photos per hour that we spend together. This number varies on an individual basis.
how do we receive our photos?
I return all photos in an online digital album in the highest resolution possible. This allows for the best printing capabilities. You are able to order high quality prints through me, as well.
